This summer 31 pregnant individuals in our shelter-in-place hotel are expecting or new parents. In fact, we have eight newborns, including two sets of twins!
Each parent came into the hotel with what they could carry in a bag. With your help, we can ensure the newborns have what they need to be safe and healthy - diapers, formula, clothes, and other essentials. And, we will continue supporting the new families with important items they need as the babies grow.
"Being off the street with a warm bed, three meals a day, and care during the last part of my pregnancy, was amazing. I got to rest for the first time in months," said Marybeth. "Thank you Catholic Charities for the care and mountain of diapers! Jenny and I are safe together in the hotel."
